¿What is a "Fixed Wireless Terminal"?
A Fixed Wireless Terminal (FWT) is best described as a base station mobile phone. It enables connection of landline devices such as a telephone handset, fax machine or computer and transmits using the mobile phone networks. Being completely wireless, a Fixed Wireless Terminal is often used in situations where traditional landline infrastructure is not available. The unit takes any standard mobile device SIM card and sends all calls over the corresponding cellular network, allowing users to make voice calls using an standard and familiar handset.

NOTE: Complying with the technical standards dictated and permanently updated by the "WORLD WIDE WEB CONSORTIUM - W3C", founded and directed by Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the WEB, is crucial to keep it open for everybody and fully operational. Oddly and remarkably, 99.999% of web pages are plagued with programming errors that dramatically degrade their speed and Web operation. With more than a THOUSAND MILLION (1,000,000,000) websites on the planet, this one is in the very tiny 0.001% that always meets all W3C technical standards and achieves the highest score of 100/100 in all Google PageSpeed and Pingdom performance tests, being faster than 99% of all websites over the world.
